Never the less; Now May the God of peace protect you under the shadow of His wings and shield you from all the wiles and traps of the enemy. I declare God's glory and goodness over your life and family. You will not be among them whom the enemy will take advantage of. You are blessed above all your fellows and you will prosper in all that you do as so long as you walk before the Lord in righteousness.
STRENGTHEN THE THINGS THAT REMAIN
Warm greetings in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ
I thank the Lord Jesus for keeping us alive throughout the year 2021 and I believe and trust Him for His divine protection throughout the year 2022. When we look at all the things happening in the world since 2020, we can easily judge all things through the light of God's Word and understand that we are living in the very last hour of the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
I know by the Spirit of God that we're in the last Laodicean church age; but I will share shortly a message which the Lord has put upon my heart concerning the church of Sardis in Revelation 3:1-6
[1] And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead. [2] Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God. [3] Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee. [4] Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy. [5] He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels. [6] He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
I want you to know that the character traits of the church of Sardis remained alive until the coming of the Lord to rapture the elect ones. The church of Sardis had a public name saying that it lives, but the truth is that they were dead spiritually.
There was only a very little truth in that church, but it was also ready to die out because of the great deception. The Lord warned that church to strengthen the things that had remained yet they were ready to perish too. The works of the church were not found perfect before the Lord. They had fallen from the Word of Truth. They lost the first love; in other words, their love had grown cold because of their daily increasing wickedness (Matthew 24:12).
They had originally received the Word of Truth but they deliberately compromised it with the world and departed from it. They forgot what God had spoken to them in the beginning of their faith and adapted to the patterns of the world. The Lord's counsel to this church was that they should remember how they received and heard at the beginning and Repent.
I understand by the Spirit that this message suits perfectly our present church. We being the Laodicean church age, on addition to being in a lukewarm condition, we have well forgotten God's ordinances and have compromised the true word of God. We have loved the things of the world more than the Word of God. We have cast away good morals and have become immoral. It's evident that Truth is no longer preached but has been replaced by excitement or entertainment and prosperity gospel. Everyone with his/her own wicked mind thinks that they are right and cannot Repent.
God knows every secret of our hearts, even though we try to appear good and righteous before people; yet God knows who we are, He knows the deep thoughts of our minds and will judge every one according to their works.
As you see that the church has deviated from the Truth, the once wise and godly men and women have become drunken and mad with the cup of Jezebel preaching and prophesying contrary to the Word of God, teaching wives to disobey their husbands through emancipation (girl power programs), men marrying fellow men and likewise women with women, encouraging divorce and setting themselves as examples to the church; denying the word of Truth.
These have taught the doctrine of Jezebel in exchange for Truth. Encouraging the birth of the daughters of Jezebel, teaching women to dress like men in pants, and dressing seducing immoral fashions of clothes, painting (weaving) of hair more commonly in the African population, permitting men also to dress disrespectfully by balancing trousers like any of the homosexuals, dressing jewelry in their ears and nose, making tattoos and braiding hair, a thing that God never commanded them to do, yet backing themselves up with Romans 8:1.
This contemporary intellectual church has replaced true praise and worship with comedy, entertaining themselves with rock and roll accompanied with all filthy wicked chorus dances; though this is not the kind of worship that God taught us but we have learned this by copying the world. Indeed the scripture has been fulfilled that before the Lord Jesus comes back again, there should come first a great fall away from the Faith (1 Timothy 4:1-2).
At a time of gross darkness like this, the Holy Spirit is warning us to remember the word of Truth which we received from the very beginning and turn to the old paths of God. The True church of God and The Word can never be modernized in any way, God is the same, yesterday, today and forever (Hebrews 13:8).
There is an Awakening voice calling the church to strengthen the things that have not yet been polluted, let's guard our minds from the deception and be equipped with God's Truth. Let's not follow the pattern of those that have fallen from the presence of God but always let's follow Jesus only. Not prophet, nor apostle neither pastor nor any preacher, let's fully follow Christ and the Holy Bible. Let's agree with whatever is written in the Word and let's refuse anything contrary to the word of Truth, and by that we Shall overcome this evil world.
2021 has been a year full of trials and tribulations in different parts of the world and I cannot promise you peace and safety in the new year 2022. Beholding everything in the light of the Word of God, the Bible says that we are living in the last times where we expect worst life experiences, great trials and tribulations, great deception and backslidings. But they that know their God shall do great exploits and shall turn many to righteousness and shall shine like bright shining stars (Daniel12:3).
Brethren; in this new year 2022, lets purpose and determine our hearts to walk in the path of righteousness and holiness. No matter who has fallen from the faith, lets stick to the truth of God’s Word all the days of our lives. Let's maintain the absolute standard quality character of a true Christian. Let's prepare for the forth coming of our Lord Jesus Christ by amending our ways that we may not be ashamed when He shall appear.
